THE JOHN LENNON
EDUCATIONAL TOUR BUS

The Lennon Bus is a non-profit mobile recording studio that gives young people free hands-on creative opportunities, carrying forward John Lennon's passion for musical expression and artistic freedom.

I spent eight years with the organization: four living and touring on the bus, then four more based in New York, where I finished as a Senior Creative Producer.

I was also heavily relied upon to direct extensive training sessions for crew members.

Along the way I produced original music and video projects with The Black Eyed Peas, RZA, Yoko Ono, and George Clinton, and built content pipelines for Apple, Canon, and Sony.

For any Malcolm Gladwell fans out there, this was my 10,000 hours.

Highlights:

Eight years with one organization, rising to Senior Creative Producer

200+ public events a year across 65+ international cities

Directed extensive training for crew members

Original projects with The Black Eyed Peas, RZA, Yoko Ono, and George Clinton

Content for Apple, Canon, and Sony reaching 2.5 billion impressions annually

GQ

GQ asked me to create profiles of figures their audience cares about, including Gay Talese, Tracy Morgan, and Olivia Culpo.

Working with a small team across several New York City locations, I shot and edited every deliverable.

AWAL

Case Agency brought me in to edit two profile pieces on artists from AWAL, the Sony owned music distribution company.

Working from interview footage, I shaped the stories of Tom Misch and Verité in a way that felt authentic to each.

RAW SPIRIT

At the inception of Russell James's fragrance brand, he was on a mission to create a niche within the space that felt different, something inviting, something raw and new.

I was on location for the shoot, capturing video and running audio for multiple talent interviews.

Afterward, I created a series of slower paced stories that invited the audience into the world the brand was building.
